Gloucester host La Rochelle knowing that any kind of win will guarantee their progress in retaining the European Challenge cup ..

That hasn't stopped the coaches making a host of changes, but the squad should be strong enough to clinch group qualifaction with Zebre currently ninepoints behind.

Greg Laidlaw skippers a side which sees Mark Atkinson, Billy Burns and David Halaifonua coming into the backs.There are six changes in the forwards with only Nicky Thomas and Tom Savage retaining their places.

The interest on the bench will be in Kiwi lock Joe Latta who will come on at some point to make his first appearance. England call-up Matt Kvesic is also being kept in reserve.
