David Humphreys and Co, have a massive job on their hands if they are to deliver that all important top six finish. Two consecutive defeats have put a massive dent in the Gloucester season and Bath this week is not only a must win but a must win with five points....
Not many saw this week's defeat by the basement boys coming.
Irish are fighting for their lives and Gloucs needed to match their passion then use their skills and experience.
The hosts hadn't won since February, and had conceded 98 points in their previous three games, so they were the taking. Instead, we gave away penalty after penalty while Irish slowed everything down.
It still looked ike we would sneak the win until Blair Cowan's late try and the boot of Greig Tonks secured a 23-18 win.
Henry Trinder got our sole try with James Hook kicking the other points.
