Rarely has a Cherry and White crowd left Kingsholm so frustrated. The quality in the Glaws ranks should be capable of turning territory and possession into wins - instead Falcons gave us a lesson in pragmatism and team spirit .
They deserved their 18-13 win because they worked for it.
On the few occasions they got close to the home line they came away with points and, in between, they defended admirably.
Once upon a time teams came to play in front iof the Shed dreading the prospect, but we have lost that. Now we are earning a reputation for being an easy touch and even the most diehard Shedhead will be looking at the next few fixtures with a worried eye.
Bath at home will be tricky and the trip to Exeter even trickier. Two West countrty derbies and our season could well hinge on how we go in those two games.
Let's stop rotating players and get our A team out for both of these games.
