Still Struggling

The game was not as bad as some noted Sunday newspaper columnists would have you believe - but there is no hiding the fact that something needs to change at Kingsholm.

Bath stuck at their task, weathered the Glaws storm (more of a breeze, to be honest), and showed us how to win games.

For a side of Gloucester's quality to finish a home game with only two penalties to show for 80 minutes effort was not acceptable to most of the 16,000 crowd.

A greasy pitch didn't help as we tried to find our way through Bath's stubborn defence and the inevitable happened. We ran out of steam and Bath scored tries through Watson and Banahan to take the points and secure their 16-6 victory.

Hard to take for the frustrated Cherry and White supporters. Next up is Exeter away - its stating the proverbial obvious that we need a result from that one.
