May To Return?

Cherry and White supporters will be hoping that Jonny May can make a return to action in France this weekend to soften the blow of the news that skipper Greg Laidlaw is leaving at the end of the season...

Greg has been one of the few consistent players in recent months, so few will begrudge him an opportunity to end his career with a challenging three year contract at Clermont Auvergne.

It will be an opportunity for Willi Heinz who will no doubt figure in the Gloucs side which once again takes on Baypnne in the European Challenge Cup - kick off is 4.00 p.m. UK time.

May is on the verge of a comeback from his knee in jury and could well get some game time in the third meetinbg between the clubs in recent season.

Last season we won both legs - 26-10 in France and 32-19 at home but who can predict which Gloucs team will turn up this time?
