Ben Morgan, Matt Kvesic and James Hook still have two thirds of the season to ignite our league season, and if the side puts in 80 minutes they could well overturn an out of sorts Saints.
Both sides go into Friday night's game on 11 points with just three wins between them out of 12 games - you wonder why the TV boys have chosen this one for live coverage.
Neither side is accustomed to being in the bottom half, but at least the European games have shown that Gloucs can put in a full 80 minute shift and that must be translated to the league.
In the backs Mark Atkinson is back in at inside centre with Twelvetrees replacing Billy Burns.
Up front Richard Hibbard and Mariano Galarza return. In the back row, Jacob Rowan and Ben Morgan replace Matt Kvesic and Lewis Ludlow.
