The big boys have had their rest and now have to put in a full eighty minutes against Wasps at Kingsholm this Saturday ..

Their understudies have shown the way with two spirited performances in the Anglo Welsh including in the 19-13 defeat against a more experienced Saints side.

In both games the side has finished strongly which has not always been the case in the Premiership. They gave Saints a bit of a fright scoring two tries in the last quarter with Ollie Thorley pinching a Saints cross kick and then powering his way to the line.

Dan Thomas reacted first  to touch down after a Northampton knocked line-out ball into their own in goal area and at 19-13 the home side had to hang on for their victory.
