Glaws have named the side we've been saving for the Challenge Cup Final with Ruan Ackermann the only slight surprise as he gets the nod ahead of Ben Morgan at No. 8..
The selected side was given a run-out two weeks ago against Bath but will have to do better than that - we lost 43-20 at Kingsholm.
But this is a final against a Cardiff side we have beaten in our last three meetings and on a grand occasion in Bilbao - destination for all kinds of Cherry and White bedecked transport from Gloucester today.
The side will also have one or two players keen tio impress specially as we don't have anyone in the selected England party to travel to South Africa although Jason Woodward and Ben Vellacot are at the Engkand training camp squad in Brighton.
Gloucs: 15. Jason Woodward; 14. Tom Marshall, 13. Billy Twelvetrees, 12. Mark Atkinson, 11. Henry Trinder; 10. Billy Burns, 9. Callum Braley; 1. Josh Hohneck, 2. James Hanson, 3. John Afoa; 4. Ed Slater (captain), 5. Mariano Galarza; 6. Jake Polledri, 7. Lewis Ludlow, 8. Ruan Ackermann
Reps: Motu Matu'u, Val Rapava Ruskin, Fraser Balmain, Freddie Clarke, Ben Morgan, Ben Vellacott, Andy Symons, Tom Hudson.
The Blues have a similar approach having rested players in the last fortnight. They have recalled most of the side which beat Pau in the semi-final with only Gethin Jenkins and Alex Cuthbert injured. They are replaced by Rhys Gill and Blaine Scully respectively.
Cardiff: 15. Gareth Anscombe; 14. Owen Lane, 13 Rey Lee-Lo, 12. Willis Halaholo, 11. Blaine Scully; 10. Jarrod Evans, 9. Tomos Williams; 1. Rhys Gill,2. Kristian Dacey, 3. Taufa'ao Filise, 4. Seb Davies, 5. Josh Turnbull, 6. Josh Navidi, 7. Ellis Jenkins (captain), 8. Nick Williams.
