More resolution needed in 2019

New Year and a new start is needed after the capitulation to Sale Sharks which turned out to be our third home defeat of the season. If we are to progress we don't want any more before summer .

Johann Ackermann has issued full apologies to supporters for the shock 15-30 defeat. Let's hope he received a similar response in the dressing room.

The issues from that game look like rumbling on until Friday with Tom Savage cited for a head clash againt Robert Du Preez in a ruck. The evidence is due to be viewed on Friday morning and if Savage is found guilty he can expect to be suspended for between six to ten weeks.

The coaches will have to decide whether to wait for the result of that hearing before finalising the side which looks to redeem itslef at Leicester on Saturday.
