Sarries this Friday night and a repeat of this week's epic win against Chiefs is now definitely on the cards ...

Gloucester players celebrate victory in the Gallagher Premiership match at Kingsholm Stadium, Glouce

The big boys came back to take on the Chiefs and showed what we have been missing. It was a full blooded affair with no shortage of skill, but not even the most die-hard Devonian would deny we were well worth the 24-17 win.

The Chiefs arrived top of the league having lost only twice. Sarries have now taken over that mantle and will come as leaders - albeit by a better points difference of just four.

IWilli Heinz (centre) celebrates scoring his side's second try with team-mates during tht could not be set up better and there is no doubt that Kingsholm will be rocking again this week.

The weekend win leaves us in fourth place just two pointst behind Quins who face Bristol at home this week witn Wasps and Bath just a couple of points behind Glaws.

Bring it on, as they say.

Well play Glaws another barnstormer, Sarries looked decidedly jaded
Top 4 beckons but there is a long way to go. In fairness it was good fortune to play the top 2 sides at home when they were at their lower strength in talent/ Would the results at a different part of the season had a different result, maybe yes, maybe no we will never know. Took full advantage, but do not look to far ahead.
