Faltering Falcons arrive for the last league game at Kingsholm and on paper we could not have a better opportunity of securing the single point we need to guarantee third place .

Our visitors desperately need five points to stand any chance of avoiding the dreaded drop and we will have to be on our guard.

We do make five changes.

Jason Woodward come in at full-back after his successful return at Wuss and that allows Matt Banahan to return to the wing. Callum Braley is at scrum-half in place of the injured Willi Heinz.

In the pack Fraser Balmain and Josh Hohneck return for Gareth Denman and Val Rapava Ruskin and Jaco Kriel is in for Jake Polledri.
