At last! The World Cup is great but there's nothing like a live 3.00 p.m. Saturday live game and we have a tough one in prospect at Sale for the Premiership opener.

Pre-season hasn't gone well if you look at our results, but everyone has had a game and, World Cup absentees apart, we now get the chance to see what the first choice Gloucs 22 can do.

Jamal-Ford Robinson suffered no ill-effects from crashing his Ford Mustang and will make his Premiership debut for Gloucs, as will the experienced Joe Simpson.

Corné Fourie is on the bench and is likely to make his first appearance as well.

Now the warm-ups are over we have Josh Hohneck and Fraser Balmain named as "first-choice" props.
