Few Excuses
Lucky Few?

Thiose who couldnt get one of the 2,000 tickets for the Quins game were the lucky ones. At least you could wander off to make a cup of tea if you were watching at home as the Cherry and Whites struggled against 14 men for most of the second half - and only 13 in the closing stages. Ok, we were missing a few regulars but Quins were up for it and organised and we weren't.
On balance we would have been happy with a bonus point but 34-24 was a reasonable reflection - even if a couple of Quins' scores were iffy.
Nathan Earle was just in front of Marcus Smith only for match officiial to decide he wasn't so Earle's try when he chased the kick stood.
And again Dombrand was ahead of the impressive Smith when he launched an op and order but the fourth try was allowed to stand. All that after Andre Esterhuizen was sent off for elbowing Lloyd Evans soon after the restart - a decision which took an eon to make. Was the TV official's monitor playing up?
Our tries came from Hanbson managed to cross twice and Slater.
It's European Championship Cup on Sunday in Lyon. Which Gloucs side will turn up.?
