Work In Progress

Nagle-Taylor Signed On
By New Cherry

We had enough possession and territory in the first half at Sandy Park to have had most sides well beaten by half-time. Instead, Exeter Chiefs managed to weather the storm and actually went into the break 7-6 up.

The champions eventually ran out 28-20 winners.

Our consolation was that we had them digging in for a large part of the game - using their tremendous defensive  skills and work ethic to stay in the game.

Until this game the Chiefs had not conceded a try at Sandy Park and had only shipped one in their last four games.

So, we can take pride in the brace scored by the impressive young debutant Toby Jenner. His energy and vision when he came on at scrum half bodes so well for the future.

With Seb Nagle-Taylor signing on this week, and Lloyd Evans showing great vision at fly half, George Skivington is building a young side with massive promise.
