Bath Game Off

Saturday's home game against Bath is off because of an outbreak of Covid at Kingsholm. It's now likely that Bath will be awarded four points and Glaws two.
Health must come first and even the conspiracy theorists who think that this has done Bath a big favour in their attempt to finish in the top 8 must acknowledge that.
The facts appear straightforward. There is a very unfortunate outbreak among Gloucesterr personnel and the well being of everyone connected must come first. So Kingsholm is closed until fuither notice.
The club says: " We are working closely with Public Health England and Premiership Rugby and continue to act upon the advice offered.
"Health, wellbeing and safety are paramount, and all players and staff are being monitored by Gloucester Rugby medical staff, in addition to their families being offered support where necessary.
"In the interests of privacy, Gloucester Rugby will not be disclosing the names of those affected."
It remains to be seen whether our season has now ended. We are due to travel to Worcester on June 12 for the final game. Nothing at stake for either club so it may well be that doesn't take place either.
