Charlie 'Concussed'

Charlie Sharples can testify that pre-season is all about getting back into contact situations again. Unfortunately for the winger he came off worst after coming on at half-time in the friendly against Ealing Trailfinders.

He managed just ten minutes after George Skivington changed the entire side at the break.

Charlie was down for some time but managed to walk off and will be fully assessed with hopes that he will be back soon - specially with Rees-Zammitt and Santiago Carreras unaviailable for the first few league games.

Before the break the Cherry and Whites were leading 19-14 but eventually went down down 34-29 to the ambitious home side.
