Honour's Even
Atkinson In Action

A roller coaster for the Cherry and Whites as we fought back to take the lead against Irish and then had to rely on missed kicks to take a share of the spoils. 25-25.
We didn't start well with tries from Agustin Creevy and Isaac Curtis-Harris giving Irish the lead.
The fightback started with Ben Morgan crashing over from the back of a rolling maul. He repeated the feat a few mintes later and we were just two points behind when Louis Rees-Zammit showed his pace racing 75 metres to the line. 25-18 to Gloucs..
Irish were still determined to get their first win of the season and drew level when Rogerson went over in the corner.
Sadly for the home supporters his kick was wide, and a last ditch drop goal attempt from Paddy Jackson also failed.
Fair result, all things considered.
George Skivington's after match press comments were: "I thought we were just a bit slow out of the blocks and as a group, we'll have to address that.
"I'm proud of them for that second-half performance but there's a good learning for us about why we started sluggishly.
"They are disappointed as we're not a team that's looking to draw, we're looking to win. But we'll take that for how we performed in the first half."
