Another Tense Affair

There's never a chance of leaving Kingsholm early to beat the traffic. The last twenty minutes of our games are not for the faint hearted and the 29-20 victory over Falcons was no different.

Fortunately, Jonny May's late try meant we could finally relax.

Falcons were resolute and had the better of the possession. But we had the attacking threat and led 13-0 at the break thanks to  two Lloyd Evans penalties and a Val Rapava-Ruskin try.

LloEvans increased the lead to 16-0 before the visitors came back through  Ben Stevenson and Joel Hodgaosn. All of a sudden it was 16-13.

Evans had brought his kicking boots and kept us in front with two before May's score gave us a  two score lead.

We needed it as the last throw of the dice went to Falcons with a try from Cameron Nordli-Kelemeti.
