Friday Night Derby

An intriguing game in prospect as a Gloucs side undefeated in the last four takes on a strangely stuttering Exeter Chiefs at Kingsholm kick off 7.45. 

Both clubs have players away preparing  for the Autumn internationals,  which adds another uncertainty to the proceedings.

Regarless, Exeter arrive having played six and won only three - a marked turnround from recent seasons. They will also arrive n the back of avery unexpected home defeat by Irish last week. The 33-21 win was the Exiles' first of the season.

Gloucsester have Jonny May and Mark Atkinson  away with England but the backs still look tasty. Adam Hastings is at stand-off with Jason Woodward at full back and Louis Rees-Zammit and Santiago Carreras on the wings. Billy Twelvetrees and Chris Harris will be in the centre.

Andrew Davidson comes into the second row with the back row of Ruan Ackermann, Lewis Ludlow and Ben Morgan unchanged.
