On paper Wasps v Gloucester is a highly attractive proposition, but not good enough for the BT sports guys who have chosen to provide live coverage of Bath v Chiefs instead. For some reason there are four Premiership games on this Friday all kicking off at 7.45.
The bad thing about Friday night games is that it's exremely difficult for away supporters to get there - as opposed to a Saturday or Sunday afternoon games.
So having just one Friday game means it can be televised, which would be of benefit to all. Next week we will be on the telly on a Friday night as we host Bristol and that's the only game on that night. All a bit baffling.
After the joys of the Premiership Cup our up and coming talent can take a rest. We have gone for experience with Ollie Thorley and Jonny May on the wings allowing Kyle Moyle to start at full back.
Mark Atkinson and Billy Twelvetrees will be in the centre and Adam Hastings and Ben Meehan at half back. Looks potent.
Up front Val Rapava-Ruskin, ack Singleton and Kirill Gotovtsev start in the front row.
