Fascinating contest in store as Glaws take on the Bears under the Kingsholm light on Friday night - kick off 7.45. It's Freddie Clarke's 100th game - when he looked at the fixtures you can bet he didn't expect Bristol to be so low down in the table. 

Pat Lam's boys have only won three out of their eight games. With their squad everyone expects them to turn the corner soon - no doubt they'll be targetting this game as the one to get them back on track.

They'll have to so it  against a home side which won an epic at Wasps last week, and which has the luxury of being able to recall Louis Rees-Zammitt and Chris Harris.

In all there are  seven changes and a very strong bench. Bristol may have to wait.
