Gloucetser's young pack put up a great show against a seasoned Lyons side and fully deserved the losing bonus point from the 19-13 defeat.

It could have been a win as we slugged it out in the last few minutes and the hosts were grateful when the last scum went their way.

Two pens from Jean-Marc Doussain penalties and one from Billy Twelvetrees kept things tight in the first half. Jordan Taufua scored for Lyon before Cameron Jordan went over for his first Gloucester try.

Jonathan Pelissie's stretched the lead to six points and it was a gap Gloucs couldn't close.
