Top Four Beckons?

We are at that stage of the season where you can spend hours analysing the league table trying to predict the remaining results. The conclusion of this week's deep excavation is that if Quins beat Saints in Northampton and Gloucs hammer bottom placed Bath the Cherry and Whites could be in fourth place come Saturday night with two games to go.

Chiefs are the other club in the reckoning but they're this week's 13th club and have already played one more game than their closest rivals. They have also just parted with their defence coach.

This is how it looks before the Friday night kick off.

Gloucs: - Bath (h), Quins (a), Sarries (h).

Chiefs: Bristol (a), Quins (h).

Saints: Quins (h), Sarries (a), Newcastle (h)

So, all to play for. On paper it's a good time to be playing the baasement club at home. But it is a local derby, and the good citizens of The Rec must be smarting at their unaccustomed position - even if the rest of us have a wry smile about it all even if there is no relegation.

George Skivington makes five changes with Harry Elrington, Jack Singleton, Kirill Gotovtsev and Ben Morgan starting and Ruan Ackermann moving to blindside flanker.

The backs are unchanged and there's a very strong bench including Santiago Socino, Jordy Reid and Tom Seabrook who will be hoping to make his 50th appearance as does Charlie Chapman.
