Missed Opportunity

Gloucester had almost ten mnutes to score a match winning try against 13 man Falcons but failed. On that basis you have to credit the bottom club for their hard work in holding out to win 27-21.

If the Cherry and Whites thought ths would be an easy win they were quickly made to think again as Falcons raced into a 24-0 lead. Flying winger Adam Radwan and scrum half Micky Young the architects.

Gloucs came back and pressure saw them receive four yellow cards in the second half. Tom Seabrook and Cameron Jordan crossed to get the home side back in the game.

All that Falcons could muster after the break was a penalty. They then conceded a penalty try to set up that finale wity two Falcons still in the bin.

So only one point which puts Gloucs down to 5th although there are still games in hand on the top 3.
