Tigers Take It

Tuisue Try

Tigers are now the holders of the very first Ed Slater Trophy after beating Gloucs 28-13 at Welford Road in front of more than 20,000 - who says the game is dying?

The defeat drops Gloucs down to 5th with Tigers now two points ahead. However, that could all change this week as the Cherry and Whites host Irish (winners against Sarries) and Tigers travel to Sale Sharks.

The Christmas Eve encounter saw Adam Hastings  give his side the lead followed by  a brace from Freddie Burns to give Leicester the lead. On form Albert Tuisue put Gloucs ahead.

However, the second half saw three tries for the home side. Guy Porter's try and two from Anthony Watson meant Jonny May's late crossing of the whitewash wasn't enough to earn his side any league points.
