Gloucester remain unbeaten in the new Premiership Cup - but only just. Coventry flew the flag for the Championship in some style with Cherry and White supporters delighted to hear the final whistle as the home side won 32-31 .

Gloucester were already guaranteed a semi-final place with that game due to be played in mid-February. They had Ollie Thorley's last ditch effort to thank for this victory whch saw them finishh with five wins out of five in Pool A.

Alll eyes will now focus on the start of the Premiership league campaign which sees Quins visit on Saturday October 14th with a 2.00 kick off.
