Some hard work needs to be put in on the training paddock this week if Gloucs are to get back on track. A brilliant start against Bath and a 20-10 half-time lead should never have turned into an embarassing 27-25 reverse.
George Skivington will be leading the inquest after admitting: " I'd like to give an answer for that second half but I don't have one.
"There was a lot of good in the first half. I thought we attacked well, thought we took some good opportunities. Second half was messy, they definitely attacked the breakdown, we weren't good enough there.."
For the painfull record tries Chris Harris and Santiago Carreras got the Cherry and Whites off to a great start with Ollie Lawrence pulling one back before oranges.
Gloucs weren't at the races after the brreak as Bath scord 28 points courtesy of Will Muir, Thomas du Toit, Beno Obano and a penalty try before Matias Alemmano got one back. A lot of The Shed had left before before Lawrence added another right on full-time.
At least there's more time to put things right before a trip to Chiefs on Sunday.
