Last Minute Agony
No Joke

With ten minutes left on the clock and Gloucs nine points ahead it looked like the Cherry and Whites had done enough - unfortunately they hadn't. Chiefs reduced the arrears with a try and then a long range last minute penalty gave Henry Slade the opportunity to produce a dramatic winner - 25-24 to Chiefs. There is no better way to win a game and no worse way to lose one.
It meant that Gloucs have now gone four games without a win after a promising start and the inquistion must be on why the game wasn't closed out .
Chiefs had led 12-7 at the break, courtesy of tries from Rus Tuima and Dafydd Jenkins, with Jack Clement crossing for Gloucester.
The visitors dominated the first 30 minutes of the second half courtesy of Ollie Thorley, Louis Rees-Zammit and Seb Atkinson with two tries in four minutes and that nine point lead should have been good enough.
However, Stu Townsend crrssed five minutes from the end to lift Chiefs and when Chris Harris was pinged at the breakdown - he looked mystified - Slade took his chance.
