Kingholm To Host Final

Gloucester will have the rare luxury of a home cup final on Friday March 15th with Tigers providing the Premiership Rugby Cup opposition after their close encounter with Ealing Trailfinders.

Billy Twelvetrees was hugely influential for Trailfinders but Tigers eventuallyy won through 29-21.

It was even closer as the Cherry and Whites took on Exeter Chiefs in the other semi. Gloucs started well with Lewis Ludlow getting the first try followed by Max LLewellyn, and it was 17-0 at half-time as Josh Hathaway crossed for the third.

Chiefs came back in the second half scoring twice but Gloucs held on to take the game 17-14.

The Prem Cup is the bright spot of the season and George Skivington was understandly delighed: "It's brilliant. We set out our marker early doors that we wanted to do something in this competition, and I'm really pleased with the boys.

"In the first half we controlled things well. In the second half we could have controlled better, but Exeter threw everything at it."
