Cup Final Team

Gloucester find themselves in the unusual position of being favourites as they go into the European Challenge Cup final at Spurs Stadium  on Friday night - kick off 20.00

Glaws very much have home  advantage as they take on South Africa's Hollywoodbets Sharks - aka Natal Sharks.

Both sides have struggled in  their respective leagues this season with Sharks 13th in the URC,  but they have beaten Pau, Oyannax, Dragons, Zebre, Edinburgh and Clermont in the Challenge Cup.

They're a typical South African outfit wth plenty of power up front and well-known names in their squad including Eben Etzebeth, Lukanyo Am, Ox Nche and Bongi Mbonambi.

Gloucs will be boosted  by the return of the experrienced Santi Carrerras, following his appendix op,  and he will start at full back with Josh Hathaway dropping down to the bench.

Jonny May is leaving after this game,  but he also starts and hoping for a swansong. Adam Hastings is in the same position and he will start at half-back alongside the impressive Caolan Englefield,  who will be a cornerstone of next season's squad.

It's a strong squad and one looking to show that finishing second bottom of the Premiership is nothing to worry about.
