A totally inept first half saw Gloucester trail 31-0 to Chiefs and George Skivington's half time talk will not have been for the faint hearted.

It had some effect but not enough. Chiefs already had the Prem Cup game in the bag and eased off while Gloucs did get the only seoncd half try through Val Rapava Ruskin .

Tome to concentrate on the league? It's Northampton Saints in the Gallagher Premiership next week and more effort will be needed right from the kick off.
