The artificial pitch is about to pay its way as Scarlets come to face the Cherry and Whites at Kingsholm on Friday night kick off 8.00 p.m..

Local boy Ciaran Knight will be relsihing the European Cahllenge Cup opportuinity as he starts in the front row after impressing off the bench in the last few games.

There's also a new half-back combination with Caolan Englefield partnering Santi Carreras at kick-off with Max Lldewellyn and Chris Harris in the centre. George Barton takes the full-back shirt.

Tomos Williams will be in the bench against his Welsh compatriots, but there's no place for Gareth Anscombe following his injury against the Sharks last week,

Scarlets are third in Pool 3 losing 17-16 at Aviron Bayonnais and beating the Georgian Black Lions 36-18 at home.
