Record Breakers

Unlucky 13 for Chiefs as Gloucester ran riot at Kingsholm.  Most of thoe 13 tries were beauties as the Cherry and Whites ran n a club record score against a side which were recent champions and which won the first fixture at Sandy Park.

Gloucs have now taken over the mantle of "great entertainers" from Quins - the two sides meeting in the next league game at The Stoop on May 10th. Who knows where the free flowing rugby can take the club as the season reaches its crucial stages. The 79-17 win taking Gloucs to fifth in the Prem.

Chiefs were never allowed in the game as Gloucs barnstormed from the kick off with pace, support play and superb handling earning the try bonus point after just 18 minutes.

The Chiefs' heads went down and the  home side were not prepared to let them off any hooks. Jack Singleton came on to score a hat-trick with the other scores coming from Clement, Blake, Ludlow, Harris, Seb Atkinson who got a brace, Anscombe, Williams, Ford-Robinson, and Wade.

 George Skivington saying: "The most pleasing thing for me is the balance of the tries was good. I thought the boys used the maul well, they used the scrum well and when we attacked we looked really good and our defence as very good as well."
