In the last hour or so we here at Tangerine-Planet.co.uk have been informed that Blackpool Football Club have applied to Blackpool Borough Council to erect a temporary stand to the south side of Bloomfield Road which would hold 618 spectators. Although a decision is yet to be passed on the application.
The application was made on the 15th January 2008 and although a decision has yet to be passed, we believe it could be erected before the start of the season if the application is accepted in the near future. However we're led to believe that the club would prefer to build a permanent stand as a pose to a temporary one.
