Lets Go Houston (UPDATE)

Well it's time for yet another trip over the pond to catch up on our freinds and adopted MLS team in our newly revamped Houston Update. We have the goals from the recent Houston Dynamo vs San Jose Earthquakes game, Put the spotlight on Brian Ching and we also results round up along with much more!

RECENT RESULTS

Well it looked like The Orange were going to May unbeaten having Drew against Chivas USA at the start of the month. The form continued into the next game against Colordo Rapids! A 2-1 win was the result for that one and it was again as they beat the Chicago Rapids.

But form elluded them against San Jose Earthquakes last Thursday night. Dynamo were playing in there former city as they were beat 2-1. The game saw Ching score a late Volley but the game ended with The Orange defeated. The defeat leaves Houston sitting third and 10 points within top spot of the Western Conference.

FEATURED PLAYER

Brian Ching! Ching scored in the recent game against The Earthquakes, a former team of his. Ching is a notorios striker scoring 85 career goals so far, having broke into the professional game aged 18. Ching is now 29 and stands at 6ft1, he's also represented the USA international side 26 times.

He became the 7th player in the history of the MLS to score four goals in one game when he first made his debut for the Dynamo, taking on the Colordo Rapids. Ching also won the MLS goal of the year competition for his goal against DC United. Ching scored an impressive bicycle kick sending El Battalion into a frenzied celebration. Away from the football field, Ching is an "avid surfer".

NEXT UP FOR HOUSTON !

The Orange next play FC Dallas at home on the 28th May. The game is available on MLS.net So for those wanting to watch it on there computers it's going to be a 2:30am Kick Off.
