It has been confirmed that Andy Morrell has left Bloomfield Road. The experienced striker has failed to come to terms on a new contract and has since joined Bury. Some had hoped that with the Dickov deal collapsing that Morrell would be offered a better deal. Instead he's been released and a new man has arrived.
19-year-old Sone Aluko has joined on loan and may be given permission to play in tomorrows game against Macclesfield in the the League Cup. Aluko has already featured in tangerine coming on as a late substitute on Saturday vs Bristol City.
On signing the player, Grayson said "He's a decent player and our scouts saw quite a bit of him when he was in Scotland."
He later added "I think he'll be another good acquisition."
