The season has started and its time once again, kicking off against Bristol City. But the start of the season also sees a comeback for the popular Tangerine-Planet.co.uk feature. Reeds Ratings where this time we were back where we started last season at home to Bristol City where Reedo was there to watch the action
Paul Rachubka – 8– Not really much to do to be honest. Gave a 8 because of his amazing save against Maynard.
Danny Coid – 7 – Replacement for Barker. Played well great challenges, got ball away and fought hard. Few mistakes though.
Rob Edwards – 8 – Played well on debut. Great heading and clearing of the ball. Nearly gave a 7 for clumsiness in corner situations.
Ian Evatt – 7 – Almost forgot he was on the pitch. Quiet afternoon for him few key moments in match for him.
Mo Camera – 8 – People have slagged him off prior to the match but played really well. Overlapping Hammill to support up front. Supplied some great crosses. Have to fight off giving him a 7 due to him letting players down the left flank
Adam Hammill – 9 – May think a 10 is suitable here but I never, rarely, give 10’s. Rapid pace, Trick Master and better then Wes. Why I didn’t give a 10 – Some crosses were bad and some could have set up goals. Great set up no doubt for Southern’s miss. A quality diagonal ball to GTF was the moment of the match.
Claus Jorgensen – 6 – Not really a pacey player and won’t be featured when the rest are fit. Jorgie needs to improve. Read game well though some key passes.
Jermaine Wright – 7 – Played well. Nice passes to help the attack and got back to help the defence. One that will feature again. A Great Signing
Keith Southern – 6 – Missed a perfect opportunity and another come to think of it. Few nice passes.
GTF – 7 – Fresh from injury and showed how well he can help attack with Hammill. Crosses between them was perfect and crossed some good balls in
Burgess – 5 – If you want a reason why a lone striker doesn’t work, here it is. Didn’t take chances well. Few key moments to net a hat-trick. Needs a Pacey striker ASAP
Subs
Sone Aluko – No Rating – Replaced in 87th min. no realy moments to talk about
David Vaughan – 6 – Replaced GTF in 67th min. few nice moments from him
Man of the Match – Adam Hammill
Burgess had to play as a lone striker and we know he cant do that, so he did well considering that.
And Rachubka messed up leading towards their goal.
