Andy Gomarsall Signs 3 Year Contract

Andy Gomarsall has ended speculation about a move by signing a 3 year contract at Kingsholm despite being overlooked by the Gloucester at the beginning of the season as Dimitri Yachvili took the limelight.

Andy Gomarsall is now the number one scrum half at Gloucester, and will start against Sale at Northampton on Sunday in the Parker Pen semi final. Andy has been overlooked by England for some time now, as many feel that he is not brilliant because he doesn't stick to the game plan all the time. But this sense of unpredictability is loved by the Kingsholm faithfull, and this is what makes him dangerous. Naming no names, some scrum half's will just pick the ball up from the back of the scrum and throw straight to the fly half, but the flare of Andy Gomarsall have picked him up a fair few tries this season. Not only that, Andy the recently married Gomarsall is also a genuinely nice bloke.

Nigel Melville is definitely a man manager, as he has secured deals with many Gloucester players, and at the moment no players a lined up for a move.

Gomarsall said;
"I learned that I needed to get my head down and just get on with things."
