Shock News: Diego Albanese To Leave The Club

SHOCK NEWS: Diego Albanese has been told by the club that his services are no longer required. All we can say is thank you Diego, you are a special player and it is a shame you have to leave at such a promising time for Gloucester.

The news filtered through to the fans today, after a posting by the man himself of the gloucesterrugby.com messageboard. Diego is one of those players who silences the crowd everytime he get's the ball because of the anticipation that he will do something special.

Everyone will remember Diego's first touch of a rugby ball for Gloucester, when against Rotherham he picked up the ball and through his clever side-stepping and burst of pace he took on most of the team.

Diego recieved his first ever professional red card at Gloucester, and showed his devotion to the club by personally apologising to the fans.

I'm afraid this seems to be the first big mistake by Nigel Melville, and let's hope it's not one he comes to regret.

What can we say but Thank You Diego, and good luck for the future.
