Barnsley Sign ex Man City Youngster

Barnsley have signed former Manchester City winger on an 18 month contract.

McHale is only 17 and has been signed as one for the future by Barnsley boss Danny Wilson after having his contract cancelled with the Premier League side by mutual consent.

McHale has been training with the clubs youth teams over the last month and impressed the coaching staff prompting the reds to sign him up.

He is not expected to feature for Barnsley this season but the club have shown that they are still looking towards the future and not just the here and now which was indicated with a number of short term signings.
