Barnsley Linked With Crainey

Barnsley are preparing to offer a contract to former Wigan left back Stephen Crainey.

This news will no doubt please the Tom Kennedy hate mob; although with no right back at the club yet other than youngster Bree, Kennedy could be switched flanks when Crainey arrives.

I think Crainey would be a good signing. I like Kennedy but Crainey is a proven regular performer at higher levels than we will be playing and a signing such as him can only be a good thing for the team.
