We Should Sign Ched Evans

Barnsley will spend the summer searching for a striker who can fire the goals to lead them to promotion at the first time of asking.

Ched Evans is set to be released from prison shortly and there are rumours that Sheffield United are poised to swoop for their former hit man.

 

When Evans was at Sheff Utd he was playing under Danny Wilson which is why I have suggested signing him.

 

He is the type of goal scorer we need and his previous with Wilson could make it a possibility.

 

Many fans will be uncomfortable with signing a convicted rapist but he will have served his time and his record speaks for itself.

 

At the end of the day someone is going to sign him and the likelihood is that it will be someone in our division so why shouldn’t we be the ones to take advantage?
