Lund Signs Contract

  Barnsley’s academy player Adam Lund has signed his first professional contract with the super reds.  

The 18 year old central defender is highly regarded by academy boss sir Bobby Hassell and has been rewarded for his impressive displays for both the under 18 team and the under 23’s.

 

He is a strong and physical defender who is comfortable with both feet and also chips in with his share of goals, and not just headers from corners, he also notches the odd spectacular effort.

 

Hopefully he can be another academy graduate to force his way in to the first team and either become a mainstay of the team or be moved on for big bucks.
