Barnsley sign Charlie Lennon

The 19-year-old has signed on a deal until 2028 with the option of an extra year. 

Lennon joined the Middlesbrough academy at under nine level and that's where he has spent many years learning his trade as a winger. 

He made one Championship appearance for Boro on 27 April 2024 against Cardiff City. 

The youngster has spent the first half of this season out on loan at National League North side Darlington, where he has made 21 appearances in all competitions and scored two goals.
