Davis Keillor-Dunn departs for Wrexham

The 28-year-old has signed for the Welsh club until the end of the 2028/29 season. 

Keillor-Dunn joined from Mansfield on deadline day and has 35 goals in 78 appearances. 

He was Barnsley’s top scorer in 2024/25 scoring 18 league goals and is top scorer this campaign with 13 league goals.

He had a brief spell at Wrexham in 2020 scoring one goal in six National League appearances. 

Keillor-Dunn has always looked a level above in League One and is no doubt ready to test himself in the Championship for promotion-chasing Wrexham. 

He bagged a brace in his last appearance for Barnsley at home to Stevenage. 

The fee is undisclosed, but it is understood to be in the multi-millions. 

On the Barnsley FC website, Head Coach Conor Hourihane said: “Davis has been a fantastic player for us since the moment he arrived. His goals, energy and determination have made a lasting impact, and although we’re disappointed to lose a player of his quality, we recognise the opportunity this move presents for him. 

“On behalf of everyone at the club, I want to thank him for his commitment, professionalism and the moments he delivered in a Barnsley shirt. We wish him all the very best for his return to Wrexham.”
