Centre back joins The Gas

The 19-year-old defender will stay with Bristol Rovers until the end of the season. Quansah has been the captain of Liverpool’s UEFA Youth League U19s team and has been with Liverpool since the age of five. He has been named on the bench for Liverpool three times and signed his first Professional in February 2021.

Quansah also starred at the European Under-19 Championships last summer in Slovakia as England beat Israel in the final to lift the trophy with the centre-back being named in the team of the tournament. The arrival of Quansah will be a huge boost to Rovers who have shipped 45 goals in just 27 appearances. Rovers have also recently lost Booby Thomas who was recalled from his loan spell and sent to Barnsley and Alfie Kilgour who signed for League Two side Mansfield Town.
