Striker beats of competition to take the reward.

Bristol Rovers striker Arron Collins has been named the League One Player Of The Season.

The 25-year-old held off competition from Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan and former Rovers striker Jonson Clarke-Harris who now plays for Peterborough. Collins has 11 Assists and 16 goals to his name so far from 42 appearances in League One, it's the first time the Welshman has tested himself at League One level. Collins had a slow start to his Rovers Career after leaving Forest Gren Rovers in the summer of 2021, he failed to score in his first 18 appearances for Rovers , but still ended the season with 18 goals to his name in an impressive second half to the season in which he helped Rovers win promotion back to League One at the first time of asking.

Rovers will have a fight on their hands to keep Collins at Rovers next season with a host of Championship clubs including Middlesborough regularly scouting the striker, although he is under Contract till the summer of 2025.
