Was it a goal or was it not?

Motherwell were last night denied three points against Rangers thanks to a rank decision to disallow a goal when the score was 1-0

Tom Hateley fired in a free kick that picked out Stephen Craigan at the far edge of the box and his effort looked goal bound and to make sure that it was going in Ross Forbes toe poked the ball over the line.

As all in Claret and Amber celebrated there was shock around the ground when the assistant's flag was raised for offside.

When having a look at the TV pictures it was obvious both were miles onside and the goal should clearly have stood and the score would have been 2-0 and the game over.

Is it time to take the few minutes out to look at the TV pictures to get decisions like this correct? I am beginning to think so but only for goals and penalty decisions.

Let's get into the 21st Century!
