Well players snubbed by Levein

New Scotland Boss Craig Levein named his first squad today and he returned to Tannadice rather than Mothewell for his selections.

He has included three Dundee United defenders in the squad, Andy Webster, Gary Kenneth and Paul Dixon.

Personally I amazed at these selections, having watch Kenneth in particular being torn apart by Chris Porter last season and Lukas Jutkiewicz this season.

Together they are part of a defence that has lost 35 goals this season, as bad as most teams in the bottom half of the table.

If these guys are good enough for a call up I am sure Mark Reynolds and Steven Hammell, part of the best defence in the country at the moment, must be wondering what they have to do.

They have now played in eight games in a row and have only lost one goal in that time....

I must admit I am thoroughly disappointed with this first squad by Levein lets hope he spreads his net a bit wider than Dundee in future.
