Is there hope we can keep Ruddy?

The Sunday Herald carries a story this morning which gives hope to Motherwell fans that we can hold on to keeper John Ruddy for another season.

The headline on the article states "Ruddy is Ready to Return", this is based upon an interview with Everton keeping coach Chris Woods who has been in Scotland this week.

There does not appear to be any rich for Everton to sell the big man, with Woods stating "He definitely has a chance of pushing to become Everton No 1 - only time will tell."

He then follows this up by saying, "I could see him coming back to the SPL, if not it will be somewhere else."

Hopefully Craig Brown has read this article and is already on the phone to David Moyes trying to set up a new deal for next season.

Equally we can only hope that Ruddy himself enjoyed the experience at Fir Park so much he is demanding to come here rather than go anywhere else.

Hopefully this will be seen a win:win situation for all sides.....
